Never Ever Said

Did you see the way they looked at her?
When she said she didn’t need him anymore
The wise man will get more use
From his enemies than a fool does
From his friends
Can we ever make amends?
All the advice they’re receiving from everywhere
Doesn't mean a thing if he can't help himself anyway
The wise man will get more use
From his enemies than a fool does
From his friends
Can we ever make amends?
Oh No
I never ever said
All the things I needed to say
The wise man will get more use
From his enemies than a fool does
From his friends
Can we ever make amends?
Oh No
I never ever said
All the things I needed to say

I couldn't wish for anything
Better than to see your smile
First thing every morning
As you wipe sleep from your eyes
I hear you say your first words
As you reach out to hold you
I guess it gets no better than the days I see before me
Love stretches further each day
And love means more in every way
Love beats the cold from outside
Love means more
On a winters day
As you reach all your milestones
We reach them together
How beautiful the mind of a child is
I just get to watch you play
Love stretches further each day
And love means more in every way
Love beats the cold from outside
Love means more
On a winters day

Small Things
02:42
|

Our great weapon
Is our ability
To choose one thought
Over another
And all great things
Are many small things
Bound together
It's the greatest glory
The walls we build ourselves
We're confined to
Step outside the comfort zone
Of your own mind
And all great things
Are many small things
Bound together
It's the greatest glory

Being Left Behind
02:20
|

We awoke to the morning rain
But I never want to let you go again
I feel inspired
When I lying next to you
We awoke to a blanket of snow
But I can never figure out how
you can make your world go
So slow
We can turn away all those feelings
Of being left behind
When nothing is working
There's nothing worse than being left behind
